What Is VillageFest?
The festival is a weekly street fair that takes place weekly in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. You’ll browse and purchase handmade goods from various vendors and craftspeople, as well as plenty of entertainment, art, food, and fun.
Location
The event takes place in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. There is no physical address, just head down to Palm Canyon Drive. An approximately three-block strip of the street will be blocked off and all the excitement will be set up.
Who Participates
A number of vendors selling food, art, crafts, and more participate in the festival, while vendors around the location often stay open late as well. Vendors set up on both sides of the street, so there’s plenty to browse and enjoy.
When is Village Fest?
Unlike many other festivals, the excitement happens again and again, week after week, year-round. Visit the downtown activity every Thursday night – it’s bound to be part of your Palm Springs vacation calendar.
October-May festivals take place 6-10 p.m., while festivals June-September are 7-10 p.m. The event website has a calendar where you can confirm the date and time of the next festival.
Who Can Come?
The event is a family-friendly event and welcomes all ages. With plenty oof food, music, entertainment, and fun, along with vendors that cater to adult and child interests, spending time at the festival is for everyone. When we say “everyone” we mean it. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome to walk the streets with their owners. Some vendors may even have items especially for them!
